가: (식당에서) 여기서는 팁을 꼭 내야 하나요?

A: (At a restaurant) Is tipping mandatory here?

나: 아니요, 그렇지 않습니다, 하지만 팁을 주시면 감사하죠.

B: No, it’s not, but it’d be appreciated if you do.

가: 그렇군요. 그건 그렇고, 어디서 환전을 할 수 있죠?

A: I see. By the way, where can I exchange money?

그건 그렇고 : by the way (그런데)

나: 이 근처에 있는 호텔 아무데서나요.

B: At any hotel around here.

아무데서 : anywhere

가: 달러랑 동의 환율이 어떻게 되나요?

A: What’s the exchange rate between the dollar and the dong?

나: 100달러가 220만 동 정도 될 거예요.

B: 100 dollars will be about 2,200,000 dong.

가: 감사합니다. 이제 계산서 좀 주시겠어요?

A: Thank you. Now can I have the bill, please?
